Arrive at Phoenix International Airport to meet your fellow Adventure Participants and Trip Leaders.
Hike in the Superstition Mountains near Phoenix, Arizona
Days 3 - 4
Rock climb on the limestone cliffs of Jack’s Canyon near Flagstaff, Arizona while enjoying scenic views from the Mogollon Rim on the southern edge of the Colorado Plateau.
Days 5 - 6
Explore the history of ancient Southwestern cultures horseback riding and viewing the cliff dwellings of Canyon De Chelly National Monument and Monument Valley in northern Arizona.
Tour the depths of the Glen Canyon Dam and raft the mighty Colorado River.
Kayak the waters of Lake Powell and meander through the depths of towering sandstone slot canyons.
Next stop is the crown jewel of Arizona’s natural wonders. View the depths of Grand Canyon National Park from above and experience it’s beauty while hiking along a magnificent trail to a majestic trail inside Grand Canyon.
Hop aboard the historically accurate Grand Canyon Railway and camp for the night in the largest Ponderosa Pine forest in the world. Ride the rails aboard a Pullman car built in 1923.
Hike the highest mountain in Arizona, Humphrey’s Peak, which towers above Flagstaff, Arizona at 12,633 feet and tour Sunset Crater, the site of the largest asteroid impact
Days 12 - 13
After a short trip south, hike the Red rocks of Sedona, Arizona and the riparian ecosystems of Oak Creek Canyon.
Road trip to Prescott, Arizona and explore the copper mining boomtown of Jerome. Take a ghost tour through town and enjoy stunning 100 mile views of the Verde River Valley and the Colorado Plateau.
